Coaching You - As a Person
Hi there! My name is Spencer. Nice to meet you! :)
As we work together, your emotional safety will always be my top priority.
You will also feel like your choices are honored, and have a safe, accepting place where all feelings and thoughts are welcome.

FAQ's
Why should I choose you as my mental health coach?
You will:

-
Learn techniques you can start using right away to lessen anxiety and stress, overcome loneliness, resolve communication issues, and build a life worth living for.
-
Receive coaching that WORKS, developed from 3+ years of perfecting scientifically studied methods.

-
Experience your healing and safety as the highest priority: I obtained professional certifications as a Mental Health Coach via Light University, suicide prevention via QPR, and a Mental Health Diploma via Alison.

-
Observe ethical, professional behavior that consistently creates a predictable and reliable coaching environment.

Who do you help?

I help adults 21 years or older who are seeing a trauma therapist or will within 30 days of signing a contract, and will stay with a trauma therapist our entire time together.
Doing this ensures the deepest and quickest healing for you! :)
Proof of attended therapy sessions will be required regularly during our time as coach and client.
Also, I will prioritize clients who:
-
Live in the United States
-
Are living with trauma
-
Are diagnosed with PTSD, complex PTSD, and/or borderline personality disorder (BPD)

*Disclaimer - I am not a therapist or any other kind of mental health professional.

What does a typical coaching session look like?
Step 1: I will begin by getting to know you as I would anyone else - your connections, interests,
wants, and so on. You're invited to ask me questions as well! :)

Step 2: We will discuss the concerns that brought you into coaching. I will mostly listen and
take notes, so your time is respected and your feelings are valued.

Step 3: As your specific concerns become clear, I will act as your support, thinking partner, and
guide while you take the lead in exploring solutions.
These solutions will be a combination of
your expertise about yourself and scientifically studied techniques tailored to that expertise.
Step 4: As we continue working together, I will teach you how to develop habits that will
resolve or at least lessen your concerns.
This may include learning social skills, developing
better habits, communicating more effectively, setting up your day for more success, etc.

How long before I see results from coaching?

Great question! This will depend entirely on your choices, such as:
-
Seeing a trauma therapist regularly and consistently following their guidance.
-
Following the coaching plan we will create together.
-
Being transparent during both coaching and therapy. Honesty = Progress.

-
Making healthy choices, such as getting enough sleep, taking medications as prescribed by medical and mental health professionals, staying active, and so on.
